There appears to be something going on with the comments + feeds...
The link creation is a little funny...

This was down to the particular configuration - nginx wasn't configured to pass through the HTTP_HOST header properly when proxying to Thin for the Merb application requests, and so when the plugin uses the HTTP_HOST header to build the feed url, it was just ending up with the internal proxy upstream name, rather than the actual HTTP_HOST it should have been.
