publishing an article immediately fails to create a permalink

Reported by Jeffrey 'jf' Lim | June 17th, 2008 @ 04:27 AM | in 0.5

If you click on "New article", and then after filling in the content, publish it immediately (ie. check the "published" box), feather will not generate a permalink for said article.

Results in the article being published, and shown on the front page - but when you mouse over the article title, it's essentially a "/" (so you have no article-specific blog page)

Workaround is to either patch it up (see http://github.com/jf/feather for the patches up to the current feather), or have a 2-step process for publishing (ie. DONT publish an article immediately. Create it, then edit it again, then publish it).

JF, can you re-test this on the latest Feather, and see if it's still an issue? I've merged outstanding fixes, so that should have included your patch. If we can confirm it's now working on the latest Feather code, we can close this ticket off.
